Details and FAQs

  • Charter buses will be departing from Denver-Morrison-Idaho Springs, Fort Collins-Greeley/Loveland, Boulder, Breckenridge-Silverthorne, Colorado Springs, and Vail-Georgetown on each day of SnowBall, dropping you off right at the festival and bringing you home safely (scroll down for schedule).
  • Every return bus will depart directly from the festival at 11:30pm on Friday and Saturday, and at 10:30pm on Sunday – you are responsible for getting back to your bus on time!
  • In order to guarantee a seat on a bus, you must buy before 7am on that day of travel. For example, if you want to ride Saturday, you must purchase before 7am Saturday.
  • Each passenger must purchase their own ticket, and provide photo ID as proof of purchase on both the way there and the way back. Please enter the name of the traveler when purchasing the ticket! There is no traditional “will call” or “box office” for these reservations
  • Seating is open, so stick with your friends to make sure everyone gets on-board and there and back safely!
  • Passengers should check-in at their bus at least 15 minutes before scheduled departure time to ensure timely departure. Buses will leave at their departure times, no exceptions.
  • If you want to ride to SnowBall on Friday, but leave on Sunday, you must buy a Friday and Sunday pass.
  • Buses will have bathrooms so don’t worry about packing diapers! (Colorado Springs line will be a school bus, so no bathroom)
  • Buses have storage holds below seating – so don’t be afraid to bring your gear! (Colorado Springs line will be a school bus, so no storage)

Bus Schedule

  • Boulder Line: 11:30am and 2:30pm on Friday and Sunday, and 1pm only on Saturday. Return leaves at 11:30pm Friday and Saturday, 10:30pm Sunday. Departure is from the Fox Theatre, 1135 13th Street, Boulder CO 80302.
  • Fort Collins Line (with a stop in Greeley/Loveland) Line: 11:30am on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Return leaves at 11:30pm Friday and Saturday, 10:30pm Sunday. Departure is from 500 University Avenue, Fort Collins CO 80523. Greeley/Loveland stop is at Greeley/Loveland Park-n-Ride, located at on the northwest corner off I-25 at Exit 257 (which is US 34).
  • Denver-Morrison-Idaho Springs Line: 11:30am and 2:00pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Return leaves at 11:30pm Friday and Saturday, 10:30pm Sunday. Departure in Denver is from the DU Campus, 2255 E. Asbury Avenue, Denver CO 80202. Stop in Morrison is at the Hogback Park-n-Ride., 30 minutes after Denver departure. Idaho Springs stop is at 2325 Miner Street, Idaho Springs CO 80452, approximately 30 minutes after bus leaves Morrison.
  • Breckenridge (with a stop in Silverthorne) Line: 2:00pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Return leaves at 11:30pm Friday and Saturday, 10:30pm Sunday. Departure in Breckenridge is from 189 Boreas Pass Road, Breckenridge CO 80424. Silverthorne stop is at 560 Silverthorne Lane, Silverthorne CO 80498, approximately 20 minutes after the bus leaves Breckenridge.
  • Colorado Springs Line: 11:30am on Friday and Sunday. Return leaves at 11:30pm Friday and Saturday, 10:30pm Sunday. Departure is from the Tejon Park-n-Ride, located at the southeast corner off I-25 of Exit 140, Tejon St.
  • Vail Line (with a stop in Georgetown) Line: 11:30am on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Return leaves at 11:30pm Friday and Saturday, 10:30pm Sunday. Departure in Vail is at 241 South Frontage Road, Vail CO 81657 (Vail Transit Center). Stop in Georgetown is at 1491 Argentine Road, Georgetown CO 80444, approximately 60 minutes after the bus leaves Vail.
